Anti-bacterial smoke
For ages smoke has been used to extend the shelf life of meat, poultry and fish. By inhibiting the growth of micro-organisms the shelf life is improved significantly. The anti-bacterial smokes of Zesti® utilize patented processes to selectively remove the traditional smoke flavour from liquid smoke while maintaining the smoke’s natural antimicrobial activity. With or without taste, this product can be applied to all types of food to extend shelf life. These smokes are applied on the product by showering, included in a marinade or internal addition.

Sodium reduction
Anti-bacterial smoke extends the shelf life without adding sodium chloride, which leads to a significant salt reduction in your final product.
